Police ID teen killed in Somerton accident

The police Accident Investigation Division has identified the young woman who was killed Sunday night in Somerton when she was hit by a car as Imari Hearst, 18, of the 500 block of Denise Drive.

The accident happened about 11 p.m. on Bustleton Avenue near Trevose Road, when Hearst was struck by a southbound vehicle as she was standing next to her vehicle, which was parked in the center of Bustleton Avenue, in the left turning lane.

The striking driver remained on location and cooperated with police officers. ••
